From a user perspective, Qlik Sense is an analytics tool that your company chose to visualise data. Qlik Sense Developers use raw data to create dashboards that may include charts, tables and other types of visual data organisation.

Qlik Sense is incredibly dynamic in that most visualisations are interactable. This gives you, the user, the ability to drill down to the exact data you want to answer your burning questions.

Qlik Sense is highly customisable, which means your company’s dashboards may look a little different from those covered in blogs across the internet. Still, the fundamental way they work and how you interact with them will likely be the same.

As standard, you are not only able to view data within Qlik Sense, but you can also export it in various formats to use as you see fit. Note that there is a way for your Qlik Sense administrator to remove that particular functionality.

Qlik Sense can be integrated with other software relatively easily, therefore, your company may be integrated to the point where you are able to update raw data directly from Qlik Sense.
